Summary
This site aims to collect as little personal data as possible. The site itself does not set cookies, and no advertising or marketing trackers are embedded. The only personal data intentionally collected is the email address of visitors who choose to subscribe to new letters. Page views are counted in aggregate, as described below.
Controller

What is collected
- Subscriber email address. If you submit the sign-up form, the email address you provide and the date of the submission are stored. No other profile data is requested, and none is intentionally inferred or appended.
- Form submission metadata. The form provider (Formspree, Inc., United States) records standard submission metadata, such as the timestamp, originating IP address, and user agent, as part of delivering each submission. This data is handled under the provider's own privacy policy.
- Aggregate page views. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., United States) to count page views and see which pages are read. According to Vercel, this tool does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
- Server logs. The hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) records standard request logs, such as IP address, user agent, path, and timestamp, for security and operational purposes. Neto Ventures does not use these logs to profile visitors.
What is not collected or done
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels.
- No analytics intended to identify individual visitors.
- Personal data is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers named on this page (and their sub-processors) to operate the site, or where required by law.
Purpose and legal basis
Subscriber email addresses are used for one purpose only: to send new letters when they are published. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data-protection law, the legal basis for this processing is your consent, given by submitting the sign-up form. You may withdraw consent at any time, as described below.
Aggregate page-view counts and server logs are processed on the basis of a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and understanding, in general terms, which pages are read.
Retention
Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed. If letters stop being published, the subscriber list will be deleted. Copies held by the form provider are subject to its retention settings, and server logs and analytics data are kept for the periods set by the hosting provider.
Service providers
The sign-up form is processed by Formspree, Inc. (United States), which delivers each submission by email. Its privacy policy applies to any data it collects independently, such as service security logs.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which also provides the page-view analytics described above. Its privacy policy applies to the data it processes.
Because both providers are based in the United States, visiting the site or submitting the form may involve transferring personal data to the United States. Where required, these transfers may rely on mechanisms the providers offer, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Your rights
Depending on where you live, data-protection law may give you the right to:
- access the personal data held about you;
- correct or update that data;
- request its deletion;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- object to processing or request its restriction;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
